As the Template Designer/Developer you will be responsible for both email and landing page template creation for our customers. This involves everything from concept and design to responsive coding.
Job Objectives:
- Conceptualize, Design & Code Responsive E-Mail Templates
- Researching & Implementing New Technologies
- In-House Template Design & Testing
- Maintain deployed templates
- Troubleshoot technical problems with templates
Job – Related Work Experience:
- 2+ years’ experience developing email compatible templates as well as website templates
- Experience using Twig to build dynamic templates
- Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Bootstrap)
- Proficiency in front-end development web programming languages such as HTML and CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript
Job Knowledge:
- Email design guidelines, standards, and best practices
- Excellent understanding of HTML/CSS and email best practice
- Ability to debug, identify and fix issues within email and website templates
- Knowledge on frontend templating languages such as Twig or Blade
- Ability to work with clients/stakeholders to understand detailed requirements regarding designs

Responsibilities:
- Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code that is testable and reusable
- Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements
- Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
- Review and debug code
- Perform validation and verification testing, as well as automated unit tests
- Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
- Contribute in all phases of an agile development life cycle

Knowledge and experience required
- The LAMP stack
- Good understanding of the Vagrant and Docker environments
- Knowledge on advanced programming, clean code and design patterns
- Good understanding of security issues on the web
- Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks such as Laravel and Symfony
- Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX etc.
- Firm grasp of object orientated programming and design
- Understanding of Test Driven Development and automated testing
- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks including jQuery, AngularJS, and similar technologies
- Experience using version control tools such as Git and GitHub

Qualifications

Purpose of the Job
To increase revenue by assisting channel partners to generate new business. The position focuses on enabling the sales efforts of channel partners in South Africa and abroad through specialist sales support and general enablement services.
High-Level Job Objectives:
- Build and maintain relationships with channel partners.
