Contact Tagging & Interest-Based Tagging

Contact tagging is a lightweight way to organise subscriber data, so you can segment lists and groups of contacts for intelligent targeting – and it’s now available on Everlytic. Much like hashtags on social media, contact tagging enables you to tag contacts with a keyword or phrase that can then be harnessed to send communication to all people with the same tag.

Interest-based tagging takes this a step further. Using natural language processing (a form of machine learning), the platform can categorise the content your contacts are clicking on within your emails and tag them with it in your lists. You can then use this data to filter your lists based on interests, so you can get even more granular with segmentation and targeting.

Global triggers are new, advanced triggers that can be used across our platform.

These can trigger actions like adding or removing someone from a workflow, sending an autoresponder, updating a contact field, subscribing or unsubscribing someone to a list, and more, when:

  • A subscriber opens an email or clicks on a link in one of your messages
  • Someone subscribes or unsubscribes from a list
  • A contact visits or clicks on a landing page
  • A data field changes

Gmail Promotional Emails

Gmail’s Promotions tab attracts an engaged audience and decreases your email’s chances of getting marked as spam. In fact, Return Path found that 93% of commercial emails directed to the promotions tab avoided the spam folder compared to only 77% those directed to the Primary tab.

And now, you can use the Promotions tab in Everlytic.

We’ve created an intuitive communication modal from which you can launch any Everlytic message, campaign, or automation workflow. This enables you to easily launch any project from one location in the platform.

Workflows is a marketing-automation tool that allows you to schedule emails and SMSs to go out at precise times, with planned delays, and based on conditions like subscriber behaviour, location, or personal information. This allows you to customise and adapt the communication journey for different audiences.

Go-To Nodes on Workflows

Go-to nodes allow you to send subscribers to another part of a marketing-automation workflow once they reach the end of a specific journey.

At a glance, you can view who’s completed the node, who’s come from another node, and which node they’ve come from, toggling seamlessly between them in your Workflow.

Go-to nodes allow you and your subscribers to get more value from each other: they get more valuable and relevant content, and you get to develop deeper relationships. Win-win.

Message Activity Conditions

Until now, conditions in workflows were limited to the information available in your database. With the release of our Message Activity condition, however, you can now adapt your workflow based on how subscribers have interacted with the in the workflow.

For now, this includes whether a contact has or hasn’t opened a specific email or clicked a link within it. You can add multiple conditions in the same node if you want (e.g.: if you want the reader to have opened and clicked in the mail). But the contact will need to fulfil all the conditions before the system will take them down the true path.

Workflow Node Reports

Node reports allow you to view detailed information about your contacts’ journey through every node in your workflow, enabling you to track things like:

  • The date each contact entered the workflow
  • The total number of messages delivered in that particular node
  • The date each contact completed the node (if applicable)

Background Colour Editing

Background colour editing allows you to change the background colour in different sections of an email.

Video Preview Images

Video in email is coming. As a first step in Everlytic, you can now share a video-preview image in an email, which links to a video in YouTube or Vimeo.

Video is hyper engaging and allows you to communicate much more content in an email – helping you create more impactful campaigns.

Rotating Banner Images

Rotating banners allow you to insert up to three images that rotate as a simple GIF in your email and link to a webpage of your choice. The Email Builder even adapts the images to the size of the section you move it to.

Rotating images like this grab readers’ attention. This boosts engagement, sets a strong tone to your emails, communicates more information graphically (more engaging than text), and can help to increase your click-through rate.
